Position Profile

Blue Collar Network is looking for a dynamic individual to generate new sales and manage new and existing customers and Job seekers for Alberta Trade Jobs. This position is 100% commission based. The accepted candidate will work as an independent contractor for Blue Collar Network Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively solicit new clients in order to sell job posting credit packages.
  • Respond to and follow-up on sales inquiries
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support
  • Track client interactions and sales progress using an online project management tool
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
  • Liaise and attend meetings or company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • Other duties as required

Must be Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Well presented and businesslike. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel in and around Edmonton. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get along with others and is a team player.

Personal Situation

Must be mature and responsible. Must have own vehicle and be able to commute reliably to client offices when required. Must have clean or near clean driving record. Must be able to work from home office and must provide their own computer with Internet connection.
